I usually make a lot of mochi sweets, so I thought I'd try baking some in the oven once in a while.
The white bean paste is combined with candied chestnuts.

The chestnut paste is wrapped in mochi dough.
It's like chestnut dumplings turned into mochi sweets.
(This was on display at last year's chestnut market.)

The apples are cooked and then solidified with agar.

We also included local sweets.
